An ungodly act

Retired DI Sam Hyatt is called into action once more, pondering the disovery of a dead body in a shallow grave. Working with DI Jodie Walsh, he considers the evidence before assessing the crime scence, noticing something seemingly insignificant, believing it to be a defining mark.

The suspects are a trio of introverts, bonding over board games and strange rituals, their alibis doing little for their claims of innocence, yet DNA evidence remains elusive, leaving Hyatt and Walsh to make a connection between soil and scripture, leading them to a killer's confession.
